Which assassin's creed is good and worth buying?I only played 3 back in the day, but stopped after disliking new protag after forced character change
>>7194723892, Brotherhood, Revelations, Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate and Origins and Odyssey (maybe buy only one those two since they are similar and long so you could get burnt out playing them in succession)
>>719472564this + mirage though Mirage's ending will only make sense if you slog through Valhalla.
>>719472389122.5 (Brotherhood)The one that hits close to home in term of history (Odyssey if you're Greek etc.)
>>719472389Worth it: 2 and BrotherhoodIf you want to see more Ezio: RevelationsIf you like pirates: Black FlagIf you love Paris: UnityIf you want a bit more (grindy) RPG mechanics: OriginsAvoid like plague: 3Everything else is there in between.
>>7194723891, 2, Brotherhood. That's when the initial plans for a franchise falls off a cliff after. If you're at that point invested fully in Ezio or Desmond (lol) then just do Revelations and 3 to finish off their individual stories. Mainly just finish with Revelations.Black Flag's a fun pirate sim so is at least worth playing once.Unity is hit or miss.Syndicate's an after-thought.Out of the RPG games Origins really is the only one really worth it due to not having all the fat the later RPG games have.
They're all about the same level of serviceable junk, people tend to glaze some of the earlier ones and forget how awful the controls or the combat are in 2 or how sailing in 4 is really just padding it's like a series of consistent 7/10 with some 6/10s and maybe one 8/10 (not telling which one)
>>719472389i liked all of the classic ones except rogue and syndicate
>>719473085>The one that hits close to home in term of history (Odyssey if you're Greek etc.)I'm Indian. Should I buy this?
>>719472389Only the first 4 games are worth playing, so AC1, AC2, Brotherhood, and Revelations. The original creative director left after Brotherhood and Ubisoft decided to turn it into slop
Modern Ubisoft could never create something with so much SOVL
>>719478267NTA Its fucking sidescrolling game (never played that trash just looked at few creenshots) and since Chronicles are never ever mentioned its even shittier than new ones
>>719472389Honestly...1,2, brotherhood, revelations, ac3, ac4, rogue, unity, syndicate, origins. That's it.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrFECnl3vno>1Only if you don't mind how janky it is and have a love for games of the era. I have a lot of nostalgia for it, but it has incredible atmosphere. I'm long overdue for another replay.>2, Brotherhood, and RevelationsEzio trilogy, the safest bet. Incredible games, even today. Not super challenging or anything but they're a great time and it was peak AC, as far as I'm concerned>UnityGot a lot of hate, and understandably. It was incredibly ambitious and it's still the most impressive AC game to date. The multiplayer missions are good fun if you have a friend, but it the singleplayer is fantastic. Story is not as good as the Ezio games.>SyndicatePretty mediocre but I ended up liking it quite a bit. The Jack The Ripper dlc is very cool. Get this one last, to be honest. Unless you really fuck with the setting, but it's kind of goofy. I wish it was darker and more serious like the leaks for it were when it was called AC Victory.>OriginsI don't like the "rpg" AC games but a lot of people do. Odyssey is too bloated for my tastes, and the ancient egypt setting is fantastic.>ShadowsSurprisingly good for an rpg AC, wait for it to go on sale. But I'm very racist and had a good time with it. I avoided the nigger samurai whenever possible, Naoe is cool and you finally get a reason to be stealthy again. The open world is very cool, just play it in japanese.
>>719472389>worth buyingNoneI bought AssCreed 2 and even though I liked it quite a bit after playing through the slog that was Asscreed 1 I wouldn't recommend buying any of them unless its through GOG or some other DRM free site
