>Every game you've played since then was fake and you exist in a hazelike reality>You can't believe this is actually what it turned out to be, in a bad way.>Yes, It was that bad.>No, it was actually worse than ME2.>No, no and no, it's way worse than ME1.>The only ones who still like it, or conversely "Mass Effect" are gay/bi kink-fetishists with mental issuesJESUS CHRIST this was bad for video games.
>>719476932aside from the garbage ending i still enjoyed it more than mass effect 2
The early 2010's were devastating for video games. It was the first time people stopped believing that video games would constantly improve and progress
Consoles were bad for video games
>>719477215We got games like GTA IV, Dead Space, Uncharted 2, Halo Reach and Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age Origins in relatively short succession. To me it felt like 2010s is where gaming peaked and then nosedived immediately thereafter. The games I mentioned got followed by BioShock Infinite, Mass Effect 3, Uncharted 3, Dragon Age 2, Halo 4, Sim City 2013DLC used to be awesome extra content and only 1 or 2 sequels later it's suddenly a way to ostracize content and deliver it for extra money, and only 1-2 years later Microtransactions became the norm.
>>719476932I chose the Red ending. I regret it the Blue ending looked much cooler and calm.
I'm still mad.
>>719477147 I mean, if you strip out the ending and pretend the last 10 minutes didn’t happen, I get where you’re coming from. Gameplay-wise, ME3 had much tighter combat than ME2, and the set pieces could be genuinely epic. The main issue is that all the goodwill it builds kind of vaporizes the moment you hit that damn space-magic elevator. It’s like cooking a great steak and then tossing it into a toilet before serving.
>>719476932The whole trilogy makes you realize the first game is the only good Mass Effect. Unless your first game was ME2 like a disgusting casual
All the games were great, stop being a little bitch
