>>719478763compared to IV, it is better in terms of gameplay, but not so much on the plot and characters.In IV for example, ignoring the cars sliding through the streets, escaping the cops was relatively easy, it was enough by abandoning the search area and not meet other cops on the way. Now in V, the car controls are way nice, but they balanced out by making pursuits longer and more intense. It was a nice tradeoff. And having more colorful activities adds to it.The plot and tone in IV is more serious, with maybe one or two moments that serves as an american parody, like the radio ads, from beginning to end, it has a consistent tone of seriousness and tragedy. In V, the entire game is the complete opposite of this. It revolves around being a clown because everything is absurd. Niko in IV wanting to live the american dream was a facade, he wanted revenge because that's all he lived for and he hasn't allowed himself to dream of a better life. In V, all the characters are lame, their entire plot lines revolves around trying to pass the time until they fuck something up, which later sets them up for bigger fuck ups, repeat until you have 4 big antagonists and you kill them all. And Trevor embodies the absurdity of V, from his personality to his actions and missions.>I may be a psychopath with rage issues and little care for human life and basic human decency, BUT HEY, I'M NO RACIST! I'M OK WITH LAMAR AND FRANKLIN! >I may be a drug lord that has no problems stomping any competition in my path and sabotaging them behind their backs, BUT HEY! I'M NO TRAITOR! THAT'S GOING TOO FAR!I really believe the only true characters were michael and franklin, which is not saying too much.The online is really enjoyable, although I'm not much of a fan of the sci-fi shit they added like flying cars and lasers and whatnot.

>>719478763Story was shit. Every character was unlikable and none of the storylines were compelling. Gameplay was fine. Guns all felt the same and cars handle like weightless rc cars it sucks. Pacing was fine I guess. Cops are fucked. They spawn in front of you all the time and always are able to b line towards you regardless of where you are no matter how far you are from people or how hidden you are. Watch dogs does this better. The best thing about the game it it has some big dynamic missions that look cool and a pretty nice looking open world, top notch npcs like every gta game and lots of weird shitty activities. 6/10
