Yeah you need tonics that lower the number of alarm tiles, otherwise some of the randomized puzzles are impossible to complete.

It's only bullshit if you get literal impossible RNG that blocks you into 5 alarm tiles. Hacking tonics are pretty plentiful and I'm pretty sure you get the better ones by doing research on cameras and turrets.

Pro tip: always freeze anything you wanna hack, it will slow down the flux by quite a bit.
