How does this game compare to others like Resident Evil 4 and the evil within?
>>
>>719483291
It's all around worse.
Literally THE movie slop that started it all.
>>
>>719484378
but how is the shootan? is it fun?
I can't replay the same 6 games forever...
>>
>>719483291
pretty good combat and visuals
the sequel has better combat but an awful dogshit story
>>
>>719484378
ill tell you an ugly truth anon... MGS 1 is the movie slop that started it all.
>>
>>719485731
It is fun.
I played both of TLOU 1 and 2 this year and they were great.
the "movie slop" is nothing but a buzzwords that retards love to use. it hold zero substance.

the combat is fun, especially in TLOU2.
>>719486280
also this, the story is not dog shit throughout the game by any mean but the ending is quite shit.
>>
>>719483291
hmmmm let me think. oh yeah! it's fucking dogshit
>>
>>719483291
It's really bad. Doesn't even have 1% of the game design of RE4.

Its by all accounts RE4 with less mechanics aside from stealth, which is borderline arbitrary and doesn't even count, since the 'stealth' is crouching behind waist-high cover

The enemy reaction/dodges are somewhat similar to the flow of how enemies react to RE4, but RE4 is much more arcadey, so its more satisfying the way enemies react to shots.

The melee system is also dumbed down, since the only form of crowd control in TLOU is
>shoot leg/throw bottle
>grab human shield
>shoot 1-2 guys
>repeat
You can't choose which melee animation stems you actually want to perform either, it'll auto-pick animations based on the environment rather than your control. Melee is also on skates like nu-GOW with gravitization
There's no real crowd control since theres only ever 5-6 enemies on screen.
The AI is incredibly basic, but faggots will act like its amazing because enemies occassionally flank you (basic pathfinding)

1 is a 7/10
2 is an 8/10
Factions is 10/10

>5-6 enemies on screen
I mean per encounter, and that's at the absolute most generally. They very rarely ever do interesting encounters until later in the games as well with Infected+Humans at the same time, but its still janky and not common.

next guy also ur next game will flop

It's much more stealth/exploration oriented, on Grounding (highest difficulty) you'll be coveting each and every bullet you have. Combat is a mixture of avoiding/stealth killing enemies into melee into occasionally shooting high priority targets as well as using crafted items (something RE doesn't have unless you could combining herbs/ammo). As far as graphics are concerned, when the game came out it was extremely beautiful, pushing the PS3 to its absolute limits but the remake changed the style/shading/colouring and it's not as impressive as it used to. Regardless, the environment/levels are great although I personally love games that let me explore abandoned, dilapidated areas

The sequel improves the game in every aspect although not everyone liked (or understood/appreciated) the story

It has the most attractive hebe

They're not that similar besides the perspective. The Last of Us is not a pure action game, there's forced stealth sections where if you are seen, you die. It's more similar to the original RE where resouce management plays a big role in how you attack a section.
It's also gorier than the other two by a substantial margin because most of the enemies are normal humans and not fantasy zombies. TLOU is more visceral. The camera never turns away from the violence.
Then production wise, controls, graphics, acting, immersion, music, options, the ways in which you are able to interact with the game TLOU mogs the other games. TLOU is linear in the progression of the story but not linear in the gameplay, the other two there only one way to deal with enemies shoot them, in TLOU you have stealth options, you can avoid them, you can set up traps, you can bait enemies to fight each other.
Storywise believe the hype, The Last of Us is best game ever made, the voice acting is on another level that has yet to be touched, especially the opening section. The storytelling is amazing.
