I got my Switch 2 and Mario Kart World yesterday.And I have to say it's a beautiful game. But I don't really feel like I'm racing. I'm more casually cruising on a long lane enjoying the scenery. And the controls are way more sluggish than Mario Kart 8.I'm kind of disappointed by it. Can't wait until the new Sonic racing game comes out. Then I'll play that instead.
