I came to play this game for Mina but it's so weird. I kinda just avoid fights unless I'm with a teammate and just fish for bites. When it comes to towers and guardians tho I can unleash my ult and just delete them. Get me in the final area and I can instantly win but killing other players is incredibly hard. I feel like my bite proc should do more damage. Or maybe my Rake skill should have further range or even just wider range cause I've missed so many times just from them dodging. I suck at the game, for sure, but idk if it's just me or if it's her. Last I played this game was when playtesting was closed and very few got in. I played Vindicta then until they nerfed her and stopped. My gameplay with Mina is farm bites, gank if I can, take out objects if we push hard enough. But absolutely avoid 1v1s and run like hell if there's two people. So far my matches I'm only dying 2 or 3 times, but man does it suck cause it doesn't feel like I can really carry. Unlike Haze or Vindicta where I feel like I'm doing something more often. Still feels nice deleting the towers/guardians/deity with one button tho lol

But realistically in any team game you shouldn't just get mad at your teammates. There's always something to learn and improve upon in any match. The only time it's really justifiable is when someone's running it straight down the lane into their towers 24/7 because they had a mental boom. But otherwise there's always a win condition you can dig out of your ass. Predicting "my teammate's behavior will lead to a loss" is just ego shit that everyone outside the .1% shouldn't bother themselves with anymore. It's how you fundamentally improve.

Been playing with a friend who I used to play Dota 2 with a lot so I guess I've been getting queued with other players with little to no matches in Deadlock. 30 minutes into a game I decided to spend a death spectating our 0/8 Calico that hasn't communicated at all to see what is going on and there's no movement, constantly struggling with getting stuck on geometry, shooting at the enemy patron from outside the base from Yellow Lane that still has the T3s up while the rest of us were teamfighting inside around the Patron. My friends and I are talking shit about her in Discord and I decide to throw a lighthearted "Hey Calico I don't want to be mean, but I don't think this is your genre of game" over the ingame voicechat.The Doorman who hasn't said a word up to this point begins crashing out at me over the mic telling me to go fuck myself and beat my head into a concrete wall for making fun of someone trying to learn how to play a game, so I can only assume Calico was his girlfriend(male?) he's been trying to carry through matches. Infernus mostly revolves around getting items that boost his DoT and having decent aim, your ult is also very strong to initiate. You can learn the map, enemy skills and get used to the movement while you play him.
