Does anyone use a screen protector for their Switch 2? Is there one that you would recommend?
>>719501829I use one for all my portables. That's a good brand from my experience.
I keep mine docked.
Does it protect against cracks or only scratches
>>719501829It already comes with one pre-applied, Nintendo has even said officially to never remove it.But that's bullshit because you absolutely should remove it because they used some piece of shit 10 cent one that attracts dust so badly as well as easily has scratch marks, so remove it and put a good one on, just don't let Nintendo know of this illegal move. But it still does have one already applied
>>719501829I bought this one:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DS1S2Z7Lit was super easy to install and while I don't play it on handheld mode that often I've used it like that for a few games and I don't notice any finger prints so the oleophobic coating is bretty good, I have 3 spare protectors left, I wish I could give them to you.
>>719501829No, the screen has one preapplied and it is a plastic layer so if you put a glue backed screen protector on it, you better never take it off because it will probably rip off the pre-applied one and if you do that good luck getting any warranty claims approved.Just get this: https://www.amazon.com/Savage-StandGrip-Bundle-Nintendo-Switch/dp/B0F48LXM9RTo cover your front screen. Amajew doesn't sell just the front cover but if you want a grip case you probably want this one: https://www.amazon.com/Savage-Raven-Skull-Co-GripCase/dp/B0FJ1G9FNY and the front cover from the previous one. That is what I use but I bought them separately from their site for 25 bucks total. No need for a screen protector then. Just attach the front cover to the ABSOLUTELY CRITICAL FOR PRACTICAL HANDHELD USE grip case. It is the best grip on the market too so worth it.
