My piece of shit XSX pad has drifting sticks after a mere two years of light use. What gamepad should I get from Gamesaar or whatever meme 3rd party manufacturer that won't use shitty planned obsolescence sticks.
Requirements:
- shaped like an XSX pad
- will be used on PC
- wireless, 2.4Ghz
- will accept my glorious Eneloop AAs
- HAS HALL EFFECT STICKS, or whatever that's better as long as it's not those shitty sticks first party manufacturers are using
- Basically, I want an XSX pad with Hall effect sticks, no need for extra, no need for fugly gaymer shape or colors, in fact, just sell me a PCB with the right sticks already soldered and I'd be happy to put it in the existing pad case.

You are going to have trouble with that one.

You can pay someone to put Hall Effect or TMR in your controller on e-bay. It costs $35 for the service and like $10 to ship it to them depending on your location.

Recently bought one of those supposedly hall-effect, generic $23 PS4 controllers from
MYSTILUCK and I regret it. There's a lot of lag you don't have to slow down time to notice over bluetooth. I can push down a button and wait a whole second or two for it to respond. Not only that, the manual only says the TRIGGERS are hall effect, not the sticks, despite the amazon page saying the latter are. There's always a catch to cheap wireless controllers.

>Eneloop AAs
Nowadays most use internal batteries like phones.
I have the Flydigi Vader 3 Pro and it seems fine but I rarely use any controller.
>6 exttra buttons
>gyro
>programmable
>hall effect
>software for macros, trigger sensitivity etc.
As I said I barely use it but it is fine for what it offers at 60 bucks.
Quite possible the newer Vader 4 offers even more gimmicks now

Just replace the pots, pussy.
>>
Is the Gulikit ES / ES PRO still the only one able to wake up the Switch 2? It's cheap and comes with no frills but still has TMR sticks, so there's that.

gamesir good, very good high qualitys

Unless you have decent equipment, good luck desoldering the industrial-grade solder on the Xbox pad PCB. Been there, I gave up, it just won't come off. Unless you have a heat gun, it's a nightmare, but might as well buy a new pad instead of a heat gun.

this is the biggest limiter you're putting on your options, OP

Why don't controller manufacturers have to buy an ad?
>>
>>719515427
same reason the ritual bitchers in chinky controller threads don't get banned for backseat modding
>>
>>719515483
I will not buy your shitty controller, luao quon xing
>>
>>719515523
buy an ad telling everybody you won't buy it
>>
>>719515541
I'd rather just sit here and argue with your for a few hours for free.

Just don't enter the thread, retard. It's as simple as that.
>>
>>719515665
Unironically, where do you think you are?
>>
2 years is pretty good for modern controller standards. my dualsense drifted after 1 year.
I would just buy another seX controller on sale. The chinese companies make controllers for small hands and 8bitdo phased out AA battery support so no eneloops there
>>
>>719515763
Even with this logic there are still reddit and twitter screencap threads where you are needed. A controller thread on a video game board is as inoffensive as you possibly can be and there are still some retards having a meltdown over it.
>>
>>719515908
Some of them over the years have melted down so hard that there's some insults derived from 8bitdo's name that were added to /v/'s spam filter

If you want one now, just buy Vader 4 Pro, it should be good, maybe.. ordered mine recently. If you want wait longer get Vader 5 Pro, the Vader 5 standard that's coming soon-ish , afaik, wont have tension adjuster for sticks like the Pro series does, so the better 5 Pro might come October, but it might come later too

There are some other controller, like the PXN P5 8K or something, and mobapad huben 2 or whatever, but these looks too cheap plastic, something like 8bitdo or gamesir mogs them in aesthetics/material quality. Vader from flydigi on surface (since my haven't arrived yet can tell) looks to be "less chinky" than some of the other third party controllers, it seems to more favorably compare to 8BitDo/GameSir, which I hold at high regard for their innovation, design and materials. Capacitive sticks allegedly could be good, but I'd hold back on them until some good lucking controller that's not cheapest available chink plastic happens to introduce them, some controller that looks a bit more serious contender to the arena.

This is smartphones all over again. This is frustrating.
But thanks for all the answers, anons. It's quite confusing with all the models a same manufacturer has in its catalog, with too few differences between models and/or now easy way to compare the features unless you lose yourself comparing them in 27 tabs.

>>719516434
If you like the S/X d-pad, ignore all controllers with "normal" inferior 4 pointy d-pad. GameSir Cyclone 2 is one of biggest fraud controllers out there, there's no fucking reason that controller couldn't have had the disc style d-pad. That d-pad is just toooooooooooooooooooooo boring
>>
>>719507794
Vader pro 3/4 are great controllers and meet your specs
>>
The chink shit general thread is on /g/, not /v/
>>
i'd be interested in the vader if it didn't have crosseyed sticks, but that's a no sale
would just like something with adjustable stick tension that isn't xbarf layout

Honestly, yeah. I got drift on my DualSense in under a year too, and that’s with light use. Meanwhile, my seX controller is still trucking along without a hitch after 2.5 years. I don’t love the AA battery design either but at least it gives me the freedom to slap in some eneloops and keep going, unlike the DualSense built-in battery that already holds half a charge. 8bitdo throwing AA support in the bin was a huge L. I swear everyone’s racing to imitate the worst parts of modern design.

>8bitdo throwing AA support in the bin was a huge L
I don't think so. Most of non-playstation controllers have like 20 hour battery lives or something, while ps controller is what, 4 or 8 hours? so even if the third party controller only held 50% charge, it would still hold more than a new playstation controller would. The hall effect and tmr sticks seem to consume less battery than normal sticks. I'm not sure about capacitive's battery wear though
