Anyone else kinda worried about the elder scrolls VI? It feels like the modding scene for Bethesda games is slowly dying out. Starfield and the oblivion remake are basically modding wastelands if you compare them to earlier bethesda games like skyrim or fallout 4. I have no doubt the basegame will be stellar and pretty much set the standard for RPGs for the next decade or two, but I also fear that backbone that was the modding scene is not really interested in modding anymore. Is it because of consoles?

Starfield was legit one of the most disappointing boring pointless games I've ever played, and I was a hyped bethesdrone for it. For TESVI to remotely stand a chance of being good we're going to need the same kind of leap in tech there was between Morrowind and Oblivion, because god knows the plot and writing will be fucking abysmal, it's only hope is to be a god tier modding platform.
