I finally picked up Elden Ring and I won't lie, this game is ass. I'm 30 hours in and about to drop it because it's genuinely so boring. Copy pasted enemies and dungeons. A pretty world but it's entirely soulless and non changing. The same exact story FromSoft has been doing is here, again. Dying world, people who still cling onto power, and then you the protagonist need to become some kind of lord. Even then the lore and characters are so uninteresting and lacking it's no surprise I've never heard a single person praise this game for its story. The fighting is probably the only saving grace, but even then a lot of the boss fights have been really easy? 90% of the time you just keep rolling into them and that's it.
