expedition 33 convinced me that turn based is badthe game is carried by its amazing art style and vibe, but once i get acclimated to that the gameplay is just no fun.there are fun elements to this style of turn based, sure, but they arent fun enough to make me actually feel like playing it, its more that there are things i can appreciate mechanically that can be satisfying at times.bad systems will have things like this, you should let those things go and look for actually good systems, not make some shit for the sake of trying to rescue the good bits.
