Why isn't this the perfect game?List 3 faults it makes.
>>719553004Every run is the same
gay writingdionysus sucksares sucks unless dual boon with athena

I instantly dropped it when I realized it's just new game+ everytime you die
Terrible enemies in elysiumRetarded hephaestus hammer upgrades that range from dogshit to godlikeThe need to farm 4654932 nectar and ambrosia to advance relationships
>>719553004For something that's supposed to be a roguelike there isn't anywhere near enough variety. Every run feels the same unless you are deliberately trying to make it as different as possible.
>>719553004too many bad upgrades, when you reroll you can get the same thing (even multiple times) again, and the result of those issues is that when you get a bunch of crap upgrades, the run feels absolutely horribleif either the upgrades were better balanced, OR rerolls actually worked, then the game would feel way better
>>719553004gay writingits a *bad* rougelikelimited upgrades make all the runs feel samey
>>719553004Too fucking repetitive I was already waiting for it to end by the 3rd run out of 10. Sotry sucks ass too. RNG can screw you up super bad and make a run miserable.
1. It's woke2. It's woke3. It's woke
The pact of punishment should've been introduced sooner. Some gods are straight useless, if you're going for that 32 run and find poseidon/ares/dyonisus then you'd better restart. The story is sweet and all but it doesn't fit the Roguelike aspect. Most people haven't seen the epilogue with the party and all.Too many keepsakes when only a few are worth anything. Chaos needs more boons, no idea how many he's got in 2. Fishing should be more engaging.Decorating your house takes too much effort and grind, most people probably don't know you get comments from the residents on the different decorations you've picked. All in all it's a really cool game, nothing close to Pyre which is a masterpiece. Kind of a disappointment for a supergiant game. I really like them.
>>719553004It's a roguelike
>>719553004It gets really repetitive after a while
>>719553067Wait, is this not one of those rougelikes?
>>719555120>Fishing should be more engagingThey tried that in 2https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e3WZEjLpWmgThis got removed
>>719555648not really. There is room variety but you'll see the same enemies in different order and you have a couple mini boss options if you even see them. You also have Thanatos that can clear rooms for you and give extra health if you kill more enemies than he does. Then you get the same 4 bosses. Now that may not sound so different from say Isaac or Gungeon, but there's no real exploration. The variety comes from the boons and other stuff you can get. There is a great deal of it but much of it is also useless. You also have different weapons but that's like using a different character at the start of a run. In 2 they added a bit more variety or at least that's how it feels, and there are more Thanatos like characters that can show up to clear rooms together with. The NPCs you encounter also offer more stuff than three exactly same things every time so that's also great. But other than that it too suffers a bit from the sameyness. The saving grace is that you can go either to the underworld or to the surface, offering true run variety. Ther's also trials of chaos for one biome or for a whole run that's mostly randomized
>>719553004Hades is a themed Dead Cells with very bad writing, terrible balancing, useless upgrades and unnecessary plot points.Even though Dead Cells has completely overstayed it's welcome with some almost pointless dlc and updates, Dead Cells is unironically the better game and probably more deserving of a thread to be called a perfect game.
>>719555726Huh, it's nice that they tried, but it doesn't look like the best fishing system either.
>>719556352The biggest complaint I see around this game is that the end game is a grind. I know that's a valid issue but, why not just start a new run?
