In every MMO I played as a healer I got to have my pick of the dungeons, decided who I let into the party, and could say unreasonable things like 'if the ring from this set drops give it to me or I leave' and would get it. In a different game you would probably grind up the utility skills and/or find equipment to boost them for some plot device door or chest or so.Even if you put that door behind the final raid boss or whatever, the funny door only serves to mock people who didn't bring a locksmith (and it would be incredibly funny to get to it without someone who could but still).The potential for an interesting dynamic is there, it's just that utilities are often not terribly flashy or attractive, and the reality is that if someone does try to design it it's going to be a footnote, and some meta will be established, making some utilities useless since nobody wants them and/or some utilities will completely cheese encounters.
