Video games suck and are bad. The most fun ones were ARPGs like Diablo for the thinking man who liked to min max and cleverly create new builds. Those lasted the longest. Now everything is terrible and every game posted to /v/ is some uninspired rehashed trash, a remake, or slop. Gaming and all the days of hype with your friends for the new COD or Halo is dead.
only thing thats bad is your taste in games. and I guess your ability to choose them.

The only way I've found to distract myself fully from real life problems is to read fiction books. No non-fiction. Reading each line distracts the brain from real world problems that you have no control over.Video games allow too much time to think about things, which can stress you out. Movies are the same thing and movies today generally suck too.I really am starting to hate video games and I wish they would just implode all at once instead of petering out pathetically so we all suffer.
Dark Souls perfected Diablo. There's no need to continue with that series.

I wouldn't consider you a video game player at all OP. You clearly don't have much going on in life, otherwise you wouldn't use these "games" that play themselves to pass the precious and irreplaceable days of your life. You can hardly look down on things from the very bottom of the pit. It's like the male equivalent of Stardew Valley or Candy Crush.
