Just built a new computer and going through some games I was too CPU bottlenecked to previously enjoy. Right now I'm playing Armor Core 6 and it's pretty damn good overall. Though I wish I had more money. I'm even replaying missions getting A/S ranks and still just never have money.

I got her into Slay the Spire and RE2 Remake and she dug those games. She introduced me to Mount & Blade Warband and X-COM 2 and I love both of those games. We're middle aged adults but grew up both liking games so when I visit her it's cool to feel young again and watch each other play games like in the old days.

I really wanted to enjoy REmake 2 but it gave me motion sickness and I have no idea why because no other game ever has.
All of my friends played RE2 after they wanted to get into the series during the RE4 remake hype and they all hated it for being a boring puzzle game with no story. Sometimes I hate my friends.

Running around in rustic forested America and killing shadow niggas is more fun than I thought it would be, and Alan narrating things is something I've missed hearing since Max Payne. I'm impressed by how the character models look kinda janky, like lots of models did from that time, but they do a very good job at expressing themselves anyway.
