Holy fuck. Absolute fucking kino. This moment into the last couple of hours of the game took it from a meh, poorly paced game with fun characters to some of the greatest storytelling ever put into vidya (or fuck, any medium). I played Clair Obscure, FF6 and FF7 this year, they all have much more engaging gameplay but none of their emotional payoffs even come close to what FF9 pulls off in the last few hours. Share your thoughts bros, I want to discuss it

FF IX has been my favorite for 25 years.
"You're not alone" is my favorite moment and OST piece.

But it does kinda come out of the blue, and clashes with the game a bit.
