FR was what 3 should have been. A crossover where the main characters of xc1 and 2, fighting off some inter dimensional evil that was a threat to both worlds. It would have been a better send off to the Klaus story than whatever the fuck the plot of 3 was aiming for.

Future Redeemed is so fucking good. Right down to the gameplay, I never cared about 100%ing a Xeno game or doing super bosses but this made me go all in. Holy fuck the progression is awesome, and so is the story. I wish Matthew got a full length game and Noah got the DLC.

Both 1 & 2 were both 10/10 for me. While I enjoyed X, it's more like a 7/10(haven't played new story cause I'm afraid I won't like it). I cannot give 3 more than a 4/10. FR I could say is maybe a 6/10 since I liked it much more than base game. There's nothing to romanticize in that setting; I like to get immersed, and 3 couldn't immerse me in anything. Not planning on replaying FR, but I did start playing a randomizer of 2 earlier this year.

But because it's Battle Network, I would play BN4 before a lot of other games on the market. XC3 did not hit me the same way 1 and 2 did.
