it's fun playing a really heavily modded version for a bit but the writing really sucks. sim settlements is cool but it's still not very immersive or useful. the settlers are broken and just stand around or wander in weird places. you can't actually make something like a fuel depot or a scrap yard and have it run as a business or something. they should probably not include settlements in fo5 and focus on what fo4 did poorly. only think i really liked about it was how the companions were more in-depth than the followers in previous games.
