I think I've made strides in improving my mental state. I no longer treat ranked matches seriously. I queue up all chill and I say "damn nice" when I get hit more than I say "bullshit character". Best of all I feel comfortable trying out new characters (for games that don't split rank per character) even knowing it will tank my Elo.Fightan games are fun...
I'll play SF6 again when they remove throw loops and not a moment before I do play GBVSR but the last few patches keep pushing the game in a nasty direction by buffing extreme archetype characters and then "nerfing" them after complaints but giving them "compensation" buffs in the same patch that make them stronger. I feel like it's the destiny of all modern fightimg games to eventually go the way of DBFZ and kill neutral by giving everyone high damage corner-to-corner 1-2 touch combos.
