The way things are going in tech and gaming, I'm starting to genuinely wonder if I'm ever going to move away from the am4 platform. Anyone else feel this way?

The future will be subscription-based AI generation to "render" gameplay for games. Sometime down the line GPUs will no longer be made for the people, and instead will be solely for massive data centers. Of course, the world will have to adopt Thorium reactors as power sources to shoulder the global increase in AI use.

I have a question for people in this thread. I'm trying to play metro exodus enhanced edition right now but i keep running into a bug where all of the textures in the world turn pitch black. The whole screen goes black in some sense but it's like it's more of a graphical artifact opposed to a traditional blackscreen (driver crash). Can anyone let me know what the hell is happening here? what I've figured out is that I'm not the only person with the issue. The fact that this issues occurs on other hardware leads me to believe it might not actually be my graphics card that is the issue, but the game itself. Happens to often for it to be playable personally. It could be an nvidia driver issue perhaps, but that video i found of someone having it had an AMD card so..... and i think even Xbox was getting it.
