n64 (or other 90s 3D platforms) renders and models are like the opposite of uncanny valley.
they're just barely recognizable as 3D objects, but still abstract enough that they feel otherworldly and whimsical.

it's the closest digital thing to what it feels like to be in a dream.

It’s not nostalgia. I am a huge faggot so I have every single MP game and hardware hooked up to play it. On my arrested development vidya game nights with my other weeb friends they are still played as part of the rotation. We basically stopped playing the newest 2 since they are dogshit. Pic related is our most played game though
