PC or DS version?
I have no idea if the remakes improved them in some way but I prefer the spritework from the DS games so I'd go with those personally.
>>719603114if you have an actual DS i'd play that one, otherwise get steam version over emulating
The PC version has only English and Japanese when the DS version had PAL Languages as well. Other than that the sprites are "remastered" in the PC version but they look worse imo
PC added the missing frames right? I remember the 3DS trilogy was kinda shit cause it removed frames/
I haven't played the PC version of the original trilogy but if it's anything like GAA or AAI then it comes up a little more QoL (like a text backlog) and markers that indicate if you've already examined something, plus you can enable the original sprites. Also has like a gallery viewer and extras like that if you care. I don't think there's any reason to play the DS versions in this day and age unless you really need portability
I'm way too nostalgic for the 32-bit sprites to give them up, but if you never played the originals I see no reason not to play the remaster. From the screenshots I've seen they adapted the artwork perfectly so I have no doubt the new version is what the game would have looked like if the GBA could display it.
how the 3ds version of the trilogy compared to pc and ds?
>>719603114PC since on that platform you can skip or speed up dialogue right at the start, whereas on DS you need to beat each case before you can even just skip the text crawl animation.
