But it only uses fire and lightning aether for the big attacks to simulate explosions while having weird spells in some shells like healing and barriers. Sky's the limit really, in bozja during the 3rd era they didn't even have shells, they just used runes and aether to enhance the swords and cast spells through them like a spellblade
