I started documenting games that I play by taking quick screenshots of interesting locations and dialog

I intend to look back through them as I grow older and quit gaming for real

I take it to another level and record 100% of footage and upload longplays of entire game. I upload that to youtube and it functions a gaming diary. Even though they dont get views it helps make singleplayer games not feel so isolating. I take the video files and run it through a program thatll take a screenshot of video every 3 seconds so that i have video+screenshots.

Simply taking screenshots is so 2 decades ago
