how are the PC ports of these games? I saw they were on gog so I can get them free, but I wonder if it would be better to emulate the PS3 versions where possible
>>

The PC ports are fine, especially if you plan on using a controller, which you should
>>
PC versions are by far the best, graphically and otherwise today. Not counting mods and the like.
>>
I played through them all with m&kb a few months ago. It worked well, better than using a controller, as usual.
>>
>>719609918
I recently played Asylum and City on Epic Games for free with mods like upscaled textures and improved shadows mods and I had no problems.
>>
>>719609918
I played Asylum a few years back and I had to do some shit with it since it was part of Games with Windows Live or someshit. Maybe they fixed it now. Either way, I was able to get the Joker dlc for the game as well so that was cool. Ran pretty well on PC with no issues.
Played City for a bit after and that one had a few issues for me. Lots of stutter, which I've heard that was the case for many because of the engine. Also, for some odd reason, you had to activate your controller only after you reach the menu, or for some reason, you won't unlock achievements normally.

I played both the PC versions and Return to Arkham on PS4.
Both are fine tbqh.
>>
>>719611134
I play fighting games with a trackball. It's superior.
>>
>>719609918
Aren’t they now essentially unplayable on new NVIDIA cards due to physx (like beyond what can be turned off, his cape runs off physx regardless)
>>
>>719609918
Both great. Origins is messy and knight os a shitshow.
Knight is better on PS4 plus has some platform exclusive stuff.
>>
>>719609918
they all run great on pc and they play pretty naturally with mouse and keyboard (especially combat parts with batmobile in knight)

No.

>Emulating PS3 games when there are native PC ports
What are you doing, nigga?
>>
>>719614568
>native PS3 game
It runs on every ps3
>native PC game
eeeh maybe it'll start if the game is not too old or is very popular
Nativity doesn't mean much in a zoo that's PC hardware and OS situation over the years.
>>
Are the DLC good for these games?
>>
>>719609918
didnt have any problemos. even arkham knight runs outta the box, though you need a tweak to uncap the 90 fps which you fix by installing the community patch. it even comes with a console so you can adjust settings past ultra in real time, similarly to the ue4 console but in lesser scope.
>>
>>719609918
pretty good but there's a missing dlc

I'm gonna jack off so much when I get to this DLC, clowngirls is my weakness
>>
>>719614973
I'm going off memory here
>Asylum: Either it didn't have DLC or it was purely restricted to the challenges section. I think you got to play Joker in a few challenges and had some special game over screens with Batman/the police telling joker to fuck himself.
>City: It was Harley Quinn's Revenge which is a shorter(I think an hour or two?) campaign where you play as Robin instead. There were also addons to the challenges section where you got to pick between batman/catwoman/robin/nightwing but no real special stuff besides the stealth challenges changing between characters.
>Origins: A few challenge addons where you play Bruce Wayne instead of batman(slightly different moveset mainly modeled on the Batman Begins/Lady Shiva training premise) and a shorter(1 hr ish) mini campaign about Freeze
>Knight: Four new DLC missions, only one of which is even remotely good(Freeze mainly because it had a nice ending. Croc was a croc of shit, Pyg I don't recall as being anything besides *Opera music intensifies* "ALFRED WE NEED TO STOP THIS KILLER FROM KILLING AGAIN, LET'S FORGET ABOUT THIS BODY UNTIL HE KILLS AGAIN" and I don't even remember who the fourth was.) and then like three or four "mini campaigns" where you play other characters after the main game, but they're literally 10 minutes each and are arena/stealth encounters instead of a contained open world.
unless you're going to 100% them I'd say opt out but I'm not sure the games even get bundled without the DLCs anymore.
>>
>>719614891
this implies PS3 emulation works perfectly, which, lmao
>>
>>719615627
Pyg wasn't DLC, that was in the base game
Season of Infamy DLC was freeze, croc, league of shadows, mad hatter

OP, just buy a PS3 and hack it if you want to play PS3 games
It's better than relying on emulation
At least every game will work natively there

>>719615627
Pyg isn't even DLC like the other anon said
Also Mad Hatter has the best side mission in the game just like in every Arkham game he appeared in
>>
>>719616937
>>719617080
Oh, I thought Hatter was base game. I really liked his stuff.
>>
>>719612019
I only had issues with PhysX in Aslume, others ran fine.
