>>719610336what was the mod and why did orsoniks dmca it
>>719611013this might be a phishing attempt
>>719610336no, but there's an underground modding server you can get on if you ask around hard enough
>>719611013Basic duck search shows thisit was a sprite replacer
Game shares the same bullshit as Noitarandom exploding barrels right outside of your visionexcept this time as spike traps that impale you all the way through when you have no meds or bandages
>>719611502skin mods have been made for a while, and not with that framework
>>719611674I would not know, i dont join random discords
>>719611572it gets much worse than thatbut the game is a lot more lenient in allowing you to recover
Why can I not refill water containers? Shit is retarded.
>>719612030>AGH!!!
can I turn this dogshit bloom off? FFS
>>719612821you can craft a canteen, and it's refillablefor balance purposes i suppose, and to make it less annoying than having to deal with all your bottles refilling every time you step in a pond
>>719612864watch your head next timethis is either an opiod craving or a brain damage shader
>>719610336>15 individual bodyparts>each one can have multiple different conditions at the same time>all physiological stats directly influence eachother and the player>no pre set injury points>mood system that's difficult to manage and has a lot of negative effects>different states of brain damage>permament afflictions and amputations>proper addiction system>separate skin/muscle health and pain per limb>damage directly affects the usability of each limb instead of acting like a general stat debuffHow does it mog zomboid so badly?
i think i am dead
>Goes 5 minutes without seeing anyone>OMG I AM SO LE DEPRESSED I WANT TO SEE SOMEONEkys faggot furshitrape mod when?
>>719613774Just like my Plazma Burst 2 SAW maps...
>>719614689mood only doesn't naturally dropyou probably ate shit food, saw corpses or got hurt badly
>>719614791There are corpses everywhere and good food is scarce, that is a given.
wow it looks like a mod of cortex
>>719614824it's actually quite easy to keep the mood above 50 once you figure it outeat only natural food, avoid corpses without loot, avoid getting hurt (that's a given), don't eat medication that makes you sick or unhappy, get good sleep and seek out other survivors
>>719614998also, don't do drugs unless you have enough shots to microdose to kill cravings, some naloxone or it's an absolute life-or-death barrel-to-the-head situationopioids are very strong and can save a dying run, but they have extreme long term consequences
>>719612864 Yeah, you can. Go into the config.ini in the game folder and set `bloom=false` or just tweak it in the in-game graphics settings if they finally patched that in. Worst case, slap in a reshade profile that nukes it entirely. Devs must’ve strapped a flashlight to the sun and forgot to turn off HDR.
>>719616593...there are no graphics optionsthe only thing you can adjust is the gamma that inverts the problem of "it's so dark i can't see anything" into "it's so bright I am constantly blinded"even the hotkeys are edited via a config
Game?? Been living under a rock.
>>719617065https://orsonik.itch.io/scav-prototypenoita inspired death and suffering simulator
>>719617110Danke
pls save meboth my hands are broken
>>719617658It's overI really dont like spending hours here for no gain
>>719617701one fracture is usually bad enough, but somehow getting both of your hands blown up on the first level would be an instant restart for mefirst two regions are actually the tutorial, by the way
>>719610336Why should I play this game?
>>719612030Jesus, how do you even manage to play with the screen like this
>>719617961it's an acquired tastein the same vein like noita or traditional roguelikes, you are thrown in a hostile world and die again and again until you figure out how to survive, and then abuse the mechanics to get on top and shape the environment to your willit will not hold your hand, and unless you actually enjoy the process of struggle itself - you will not enjoy it
>>719617961You should not, I am uninstalling until it gets more fleshed out.Ta-ta
>>719618241There's easily 50+ hours of content right now, and i doubt the first few layers are going to change at allEverything you see is intentional - the shaders covering 90% of your screen, absolute darkness and manual inventory management
I absolutely hate the fact everything has durability, fuck you.I just edited the assembly to get rid of that DOGshit->8k line Item.cs fileFUCKIGNG RETARD CHILD DEV
>pass out on floor>Fall through a hidden ONE tile gap on floor somehow when you couldnt fall through it standing up>fall into freezing water>drown due to cardiac arrestok
>>719618880drowning due to exhaustion by falling into a 2x2 water puddle is a rite of passage every new player did that
>>719618337That's not assembly
>>719610336>Game about jerking off to a cute animal creature getting all his bones broken and torn apart into bloody chunks.Psychopath slop. I do not like watching cute things getting hurt.
>>719620548that's dnspy and the only thing you'd be editing with that would be the assemblycsharp.dll, which is probably being referred as assembly, it's just decompiled code
>>719621361>See furniggers >Think cute>See gore>Think of jerking offYou're self reporting a bit too much
>>719621439If the game removed all the guro BDSM fetish shit and just had a health bar like a normal game, it would be cute and I would play it.
>>719621982The health management is no different from Neurotrauma mod from Barotrauma. If anything, simplifying the health management so 80iq niggers can pass the filter would just worsen the game. There are actual issues, like the retarded durability usage on everything, and no visibility, and awful terrain generation requiring constant digging to get anywhere, but the health management is not.
Do you think the tech we are send to get is even real? I heard people saying that it is not. And even if it is real, will corporation recover us aswell or just let us die in the depths? Won't be a surprise if the latter.
>>719622204>retarded durability usage on everythingNon-container wearables last easily 3+ hours, and durability exists to incentivize both more careful approach to gameplay by not wasting your tools for no reason and to make the game more dynamic long-term by creating a long-lasting crisis you also have to work around. There are good, high capacity and long lasting containers that come with huge weight penalties and solidify the packrat playstyle if you're lootgoblining so much.Removing durability would just remove any incentive to move down at all.>no visibilityGetting and managing light sources is a skill. There's a way to consistently get a lightbulb on start of every run, which then can be upgraded into a flashlight that lights up the entire section in front of you to the edge of the screen. I never struggle with visibility anymore.>awful terrain generation requiring constant digging to get anywhereGame is slow-paced, but not that slow-paced. I rarely encounter situations when I need to dig more than ~20 tiles per dig, and paired with the fact that you can always speed up time for resting and while digging - it's never an issue pacing-wise. If you think you are forced to dig around the traps, you aren't. There are many ways to both quickly disable common traps, and to also minimize the amount of time clawing your time through rock if you have to.
>>719625854The only actual design issue i can think of is a specific trap type that's both difficult to spot, has huge range and there are very few ways to mitigate it's effects, although some might argue that it requires a more high level navigational strategy to (like avoiding large, open drops and sticking to the walls) in order to avoid it. I am not quite sure about this, but i did notice that not taking paths through open areas did led me to spotting them more often safely, however it can still result in absolutely bullshit deaths like webm.
>>719624880It's probably a macguffin that has way less actual value, but i do think you'll have to retrieve itthere is going to be a whole section about ascending after you find it and multiple endings
>>719626525I remember getting grappling hook right before dying in my best run from sonic bullshit. I hope it is as good as I expect or I don't know how I am going to do this. But this is problem for the later, I'm still learning how survive properly and what to expect from each cave layer.
>>719612030>when you get your sexual awakening from the red screen haze from regenerating health
>>719627857To deal with soundcannons you:Stop. They only begin charging once you cross it's line of sight.Listen. Understand the general direction of where the sound is.Duck and cover. Once you realize the rough location of the turret, do everything you can to put a wall between you and it. Ragdoll, dig into a hole, jump down - anything. Taking a risk of fall damage is often less severe than getting hit with a SC, especially if you don't have any way to stop internal bleeding.
>>719614689>>719614791Player character mood systems are fucking retarded. I am literally having fun why is the game telling me "wowww you are DEPRESSED"Maybe I enjoyed seeing lots of corpses because the spritework is good or maybe I'm just like that, fuck you game
>>719621982It's literally the same system as dwarf fortress yet nobody accuses that of being guro fetish.
>>719628312There's going to be a more stoic character added soon who deals with shit betterExpie is actually more on the softer side when it comes to moodBut mood system in scav is good because it's actually meaningful, mitigatible and there are many ways to go around it, it's not just a stupid fucking action speed debuff until you eat a chocolate bar or some shit like that
>>719628379there's a cross-board scav shizo who shits up every thread in which the game comes up
>>719630685Needs UI blotches
