In open-world video games like Arkham City, do you prefer to focus on the main story first, or on the sidequests and collectibles first?
I try to get the game far along enough where all the side quests are available (because a lot of side quests get gated by story), and then indulge in them all, hopefully before the end of the game.

open world games are kinda shit>wanna do the main story but you're underleveled / geared so you gotta grind side content>wanna do more side content but it's locked behind main story questsI get that the philosophy is that you're supposed to take the sandbox approach where you jump in the game and then do whatever you come across, but those people who play like that are mostly normalfags who don't really give a fuck about either main or side content and just roam around killing npcs and driving cars for hours

>>719623716I bought the collection recently because they were a few dollary doos for the trio. I don't play open world games often or bamham type action games so I figured why not.I do and have made the mistake of doing side missions to a point where I lose interest in the game though, most recently was Rise of the Ronin but I never completed Skyrim either. So for me I'm gonna focus on the main story and just a few side missions if the reward is tempting.
