The ending was a bit of a wet fart, but the journey to it was amazing. Except for the wraith world. A mostly mature story that reaches a bit too far into the edgy once in a while (mainly when it comes to Lewis), but is balanced out by some delicate femininity from Jen. 9/10

It has a kinda similar vibe to to Legacy of Kain imo with the voice acting and tone. Theres 2 playable characters one is a girl who gets the power to change into the different forms and one is a Gargoyle who cam climb walls. I remember getting Primal for my birthday as a kid and my mom thought I was gay for wanting that game due to a girl being on the box. She said the same thing when she saw me coming home with Bayoneeta and Final Fantasy 13 years later also.
Shadow Hearts 1 and 2 both have the biggest good to unknown ratio of any game. They are top tier jrpgs on pair with the greatest but no one has really heard of them, the very definition of hidden gems. Nowadays more people know about the series through word of mouth though still pretty unknown
