Back when I was in high school I considered doing my senior project on game design but it just wouldn't have been feasible. I forgot the number of sources we needed from the school library but it was a pretty absurd amount (plus our school didn't have any books on game design), we could only use .edu sources for our web sources, and we needed to do some mentorship shit under someone active in the industry and this was before the indie market really blew up and there was nobody to do that shit nearby (closest I think was Epic Games in Cary which was like 2 hours away).
