I actually think the top 100 books were pretty crap, I was trying to read more books so I went on lit looking for some cool Sci Fi or fantasy stuff and most of the books on the top 100 are just incredibly obtuse stuff that looked like it would be more of a chore to read than enjoyable. I’m sure literature students and scholars have fun spending hours analysing references and meaning in hard to read texts but I just wanted a decent story.
