Are the older assassin's creed games worth playing? I never got into them

Most are pretty good. 1 up to 4 are all pretty stellar games, then it gets a bit iffy. I like Syndicate but lots of people had series fatigue by then.Then Origins and Odyssey are top tier, then Valhalla and Shadows go back to being iffy.

>>719637730Nta but I liked 3 it gets a lot of hate. It’s not as good as 1, 2 or 4 but it’s a tragic story. Connor is a pretty polarizing protagonist but by the end he’s my favorite, he makes many mistakes when he’s young but by the end he’s the wisest assassin and he helps the mixed black woman assassin in that Lousiana spinoff game. I genuinely liked the story between him and his father. It also connects well with AC Rogue where you can see Connor’s assassin mentor (the black guy) and how shitty the guy was in his younger years. 3 gets a lot of hate but I think it’s leagues better than the games from Origins onwards. Though I really like Valhalla its viking setting is dope and the expansions are big and fun.
