I just beat Halo Reach. What an amazing last game for the Halo franchise, and it's a shame there were no more games after this, but I think it was for the best, we wouldn't want Chief's and the Spartans' legacy to be tainted by unnecessary sequels after all.
same except I played halo 4 sadly, but that game was enough for me to retire my interest in the franchise. Haven't played one since.
>>719647184I only keep hearing about how badly 343 butchered the whole series after Bungie was done with it. 4 is there in the MCC, but considering that it's the first part of a new trilogy and the last thing I want is to leave it incomplete, I will just skip it and move on with other games, I had my fair share of Halo and I had a lot of fun with it, the last thing I want is to end it on a sour note.

The entire campaign feels like it was written by someone who doesnt know jack shit about Halo and was asked to written the story over the weekend with Halo 1-3 wikipedian synopses as their material. Do not sour your memories. Its not worth it.

>>719647184From what I know, 4 is the least "worst" of the 343 games, the issue with it that I had was that the story required you read novels to fully understand as the new forerunner characters in the game are all developed in those novels and barely in the game itself and the game acts as if you already have this knowledge before you play. The soundtrack was ok too, and it had some decent moments, but not something I ever want to replay unlike the original trilogy, odst and reach.
