>>719648393i saw my friend playing dark souls 1 with a challenge run where he cant use any equipment that his character doesnt start with (except story relevant rings) so i wanted to do it for DS2. I picked swordsman because i figured that having 2 weapons would make areas easier because I would have another option if my first weapon breaks. I probably should have started with barbarian to get the bow but i didnt think about ranged combat when picking my class.Sorc and cleric are obvious no go's despite cleric having an amazing starting weapon because they cant equip different spells or rings to increase their spell count. Still cleric might have been worth it just for mace. Its kind of annoying exploring levels and finding loot i just cannot use, but oh well thats the point of the challenge i guess. Ds2 is kind of hard without a shield it turns out, but the only class that gets a shield at the start also has a broken sword as his only offensive equipment so that would be complete aids with its shit durability.I might restart as barbarian if i get hard stuck somewhere

Maybe the Chinese servers are doing okay because they have a radically different client that doesnt have all the terrible systems the non Chinese one does.

>>719649934I'm not a challenge run person but I don't think those swords are good....however a anything is viable if you put mundane on it and raise your stats as high as possible :^)
