I also tried Hag in White, it sucks despite people saying it was good so I dropped it and haven't bothered to play any more romhacks. There isn't much appeal playing something which allegedly has interesting difficulty or whatever if it has shitty fanfiction writing and I can't bond with the characters at all.

>>719655576Besides what's in your pic, Drums of War.The gameplay is simple without either being simplistic or going full 3 skills per character retardation.What it does with some classes is pretty interesting, like tankier Heroes or slow Snipers that hit like trucks.The maps are pretty good with each hving some kind of gimmick and side objectives.The story is pretty good, reminded me of Tactics Ogre.Some of the portraits are a bit shit though, you can see the artist's progression spliced portraits that look good to overdetailed portraits made from scratch that look like ass.The guy who made it later finished Dream of Five which was sadly less interesting.

Both also seem heavy on skill bullshit. Personal skill, 2 skills per class for a total of 5 skills per character is kind of absurd imo.
