The shipper in me wonders if they would lean into certain pairings. Chrobin has remained the most popular pair after all this time and they've explored it a bit more in stuff like Heroes and Cipher. Personally I think trying to combine FE 6 and 7 into one cohesive monster game would be more fun for a remake. Especially if they add a way to have the paired endings you end up with in 7 affect units in 6.
