It's unfortunate that he died young but I didn't like Nintendo under his direction. Rampant casualization, perpetuation/creation of anti-consumer practices, start of overpriced games/services. He had a few good things going like having the foresight to purchase monolithsoft and the concept of the switch but overall he's my least favorite nintendo lead since they got into video games.

Same I can't believe those Yakuza killed him just for a fucking bad launch. Switch was this niggers idea and they owe him everything. Nips are very polite and appreciate beauty. But they are some of the most ungrateful businessmen I've ever heard of.

Its tragic that he died shortly after one of nintendos most underwhelming E3s and before switch launched. I remember he even stated an apology for how much that E3 sucked
