Do you remember when you lost your passion for gaming?
>still enjoying gamesI haven't
If you don't have passion for gaming why are you constantly shitting up a board about it? Just go away.
>>719684795NEVER HAVE SUCKA
>>719684795nopeI'm playing more often than I did last year or years before
Vidya is one of the only things I have passion for anymore.>beat picrel for the first time a week ago and really enjoyed it
>>719684795I can't imagine obsessing over a hobby that you don't find fun anymore.>hurr im just not afraid to critiqueExcept that's not the case when you literally don't find anything fun anymore. You're just a loser who can't move on. Read >>719684886 and fuck off.
Uh oh, 2 on-topic threads today.... the anons are getting rowdy. Janny, remove every thread about gacha games.
I haven't played any games since I'm too exhausted from work, but I do want to get back into it eventually
>>719685105Not him, but do you really not know the context for the OP quote and pic
>>719684862Based and same. I play a ton of old stuff and anything new that looks fun. Great games are all around, you just need to look for them.
i lost hope for aaa not passion
I still love games
yea first time i got banned for saying faggot
Yeah about 25 years ago when I started posting about vidya instead of actually ever playing it.
>>719684795When I played Tetris The GrandMaster and realized almost all games are shitty.
>>719685392Soooo like 90% of /v/ in a nutshell
>>719684795No, I can't see into the future unfortunately
>>719684795Probably that time right after the 2008 market crash, when I was unemployed for 4 years.
when I finally was forced to grow up and my remaining careless youth ran out in my late 20s. games just will never be what they were when time wasn't a real material thing to me.
>>719684795Still got mine. Boot up left 4 dead 2 often still. Replaying ff2 as we speak
>>719685702Damn, that’s rough. I knew a few guys that lost their homes during the Great Recession. Haven’t seen or spoke to them in years, but hope they got back on their feet.
>>719684795for modern gaming it was 2013 with the ps4 and xbox one, I saw the industry heading in a direction I didn't like and older games looked more interesting than the newer ones coming out so I switched to PC and never looked back.Been playing on emulators the games that interest me along with the occasional new release.Looking forward to Silksong this weekend
Creepy old Star Fucker Japanese man ruins video game series so he can hang out with Hollywood stars
>>719684795Around 14.Then again I lost my passion for everything around that age.
>>719685247 Same here. Still love vidya, but AAA been creatively bankrupt for years now. Just sterile open worlds, checkbox designs, and bloated budgets chasing movie envy. Meanwhile, indies and retro still hit like they’ve got soul. Give me jank passion projects over another live-service husk any day.
>>719684795>I lost passion about everythingHow do i even fix that though...
online multiplayer addiction ruined actual video games for me in 2009
>>719689521People will try to bullshit you and say you just need to experiment with different crap, but the actual answer is that you've probably just lost the fundamental love for life itself.Meditation and introspection can help, but it's rare for someone to reignite it.
Probably the millionth time I saw something gay. The religion of poop pushing should have never been allowed in.
>>719684795I never had a "passion" for gaming, I just play for a bit of fun. Honestly it's kinda pathetic to be passionate about something like videogames.
>>719684795As I'm getting into my 40s, I'm slowly realizing that it's not that I've lost my passion, it's just less things seem magical to me. I love picking up new games, but usually by hour 4, I've pretty much "got the gist" and if it's something less than a C+ or B-, I usually don't find the game fun enough to keep plowing through. When I was younger, it was way easier for me to want to spend 200+ hours on a 60 hour game cause I would just get lost in that one game. Now everything seems the same. It's getting worse day-by-day.
>>719686053>FF2Holy based. I'm playing the NES version right now and it's kicking my asshole in.
>>719684795i still like games but i've gotten way less interested in multiplayer games ever since devs started focusing on grinding for player retention. battle passes and horrendously slowed down player progression are turning mp games into unpaid labor instead of sandboxes where you dick around with other people. devs also use seasons as an excuse to release half-assed games with the promise of fixing them later
>>719684795Passion for toys? Seek help.
>>719690754Use the cancel glitch to level spells and stats. The game is too broken without it.
