Doesn't seem like there are any interesting games.
>>719688226What was the last game they made that wasn't part of an existing franchise
never have been interesting games since Scott Pilgrim and Rayman Legends
>remake>far cry extraction shooter>remake>sequel thats been in dev hell for 17 yearspathetic
Might be interested in a new Ghost Recon. Been feeling nostalgic about the PS2 games & Socom recently.
>>719688226Shadows already sold a bazillion copies, enough to feed Ubisoft for another 10 years even if they do nothing. Chuds lost.
new anno got a demo and they managed to make it worse than 1800
>>719688492Wildlands was fun if you had three friends to play with. Breakpoint was shit.
>endless AC, FC and Tom Clancy games factoryGrimmest of grim
>>719688545>enough to feed Ubisoft for another 10 years even if they do nothing. So why would Ubisoft sell its ass to Tencent?
wth? You guys SWORE Ubisoft was going bankrupt/out of business?
>>719688226>The next mainline Ghost Recon gameI fully expect them to learn absolutely nothing from the mistakes they made with Breakpoint.
Breakpoint is better than Wildlands.
>>719688226Unless you're just obsessed with buying games, that's a good thing though? Their main problem is even though AC Odyssey, Valhalla and Shadows are selling well is that they oversaturated their market. Why the fuck did an Avatar game and a Star Wars game come out right on top of each other? They get one successful formula and immediately try to turn all their games into it which also exacerbates the issue.Slowing down and letting people breath is a safer bet. Let AC Shadows run through its DLC, sell bundles and shit, make smaller scale Mirage-style projects for rapid cheap turnaround, and then people will be lining up for Far Cry 7 as the next big Ubisoft tentpole. All the better if they can devote attention to neglected franchises that aren't open world joints like Rayman or Splinter Cell, but it's not the end of the world. And if their games avoid having a shitload of bugs and things, all the better. The other half of it is their suicidal obsession with trying to get a live service game even though Rainbow Six Siege, a live service game, is already one of the most played games on all platforms; as of posting it's #5 on Xbox's most played and #14 on Steam. Certainly nothing to sneeze at in a world where CS and COD exist.
If i'm reading this right ubisofts stocks are currently at the second lowest they have been since the massive collapse in the leadup to Shadows
>>719689280RINE MUST GO APPUWhen you have like 20 different subcontractors working on one game you can't afford to have vision and slow down and Shadows fumbling the most requested setting for an AC game shows that very nicely. It's a hugely expensive nothingburger. Ubisoft Bordeaux has shown with Mirage that they kind of understand what AC should feel like but they are consigned to making DLC campaigns to bigger titles instead of making their own game. The sheer cost of those games weighs down on them.
>>719688226>all garbage extraction memes>no mainline Rainbow Six game that isn't 5v5 esport tranny wankWhy does anyone care for this shit company again?
