Here's how I'd fix The Phantom Pain>Make Ground Zeroes the prologue>Three more chapters, with the story focused more on Big Boss and Venom's downwards spiral. >Make the open world half their size and be more akin to Ground Zeroes in terms of content/detail and what not, same with Mother Base.>Add more animals and nature.>Bring back the health and camouflage mechanic from Snake Eater.>Outer Ops are more like what they were in Peace Walker and Portable Ops.>Staff morale is more like what it was in Peace Walker.>More variety in the Side Ops/Extra Ops.>Finishing Kingdom of the Flies.>Subsistence / Extreme variants of Missions.>Bring back Chico >Make Battle Gear more like ZEKE (i.e. if a part of Battle Gear got damaged, it would have to be repaired and if Battle Gear was competely damaged, it would have to be reassembled from scratch).
Expectation:>Fight against Zero and his Patriots who basically control the entire world>Build Outer Heaven>Final boss is Solid SnakeReality:>You just go around saving starving African children and that's it

Keep GZ controls and character movement. Discard TPP controls, or make them optional.
