How would you avoid spoilers?
I don't understand the fear of spoilers. I've seen spoilers for basically every single game I like, didn't stop me from playing and enjoying their stories.
>>719761218>turn off all youtube notifications>don't open 4chan>forget about spoilers, open 4chan and then immediately close it>open 4chan again
i will spam spoilers for this game all day tomorrow. do not open /v/ if you want to avoid them
Are people genuinely excited for some 2D indie game? It looks like mobile shit. Also what spoilers? Does this game ever has lore? Go play patapons retard it's the same shit
>>719761421Yes
>>719761305>I don't understand the fear of spoilers. You have a low IQ and don't understand that the context you're given changes how you process the content
>>719762296So are people just never able to enjoy any piece of media if they know anything about it beforehand?
>>719762469>unable to enjoyYour experience would be 1/10 of what it should be if every expectation, every twist and every character's fate is revealed.
>>719762469You can still enjoy it. But you'll never be able to enjoy it in the way you would have if you hadn't been given that context. That's not an option for you anymore.
Just don't go to /v/. Go to /tv/ or to /vg/ and shitpost in specific generals.
Why are retards unable to get off the internet? Even a faggot like me who does nothing but play video games all day understands how to avoid news. And if you see something vaguely remotely related to a spoiler, are people's reaction time so fucking slow that they allow their eyes to linger on something?
>>719762296>has my experience deviated from some inane platonic ideal of a pure blind first run?>everything is ruinedi am assuming every negative stereotype about youa fanboy, a retard, a spineless little slime that can't even distance himself from the internet to avoid spoilers
>>719761218Decimate all deltatroon posters
>>719761218
You could just not use the internet
Silksong is the Hollow Knight
I just filter things from OPs. Things'll slip through but it's very game dependent. I only played Death Stranding last year and legitimately didn't know dick about it.
>>719761218When new Deltarune chapters came out, I actually avoided using 4chan and other social media as a whole for over a month until i played Deltarune. I would say it paid off because i had no idea picrel would actually show up
>>719762571>>719762745I played Bioshock after knowing the twist and it didn't bother me any. I still completely trusted Atlas and was committed to killing Andrew Ryan I simply forgot about the twist until it happened because the presentation and story was so good.
>>719761305I try to avoid them, but with time after getting past the spoiled part it stops mattering
>>719764721You are a standard deviation higher than most idiots then. You had a problem and actually found a decent solutionz
Dess nuts
>>719761305spoilers make me lose interest in the game/book.It's kind of a "well, i know what's going to happen, why bother" type of thing.
just likeforget about the spoiler broI find it super easy to just not think about something until it fades from memoryjust stop thinkingif you can't then I suggest alcohol
>>719761218cute dess
>>719766009Gottem
>>719766009Kek
>>719764721Ditto, though I went into hiding a little earlier because the tracklist for the new chapters leaked a day or two early.
>>719764721FUCK YOUUUU
>finish watching a youtube video>"SECRET FINAL BOSS AND TRUE ENDING" of a game you never played pops up in the post-video recs with spoilers in the thumbnail
Dihess...
As soon as Silksong releases I'm implementing a mental ban from /v/ until I roll credits. Done it with other games and it works out well.I can still browse other boards like /a/ and /tg/ though. I still need my fix.
>>719761305There's a bunch of stories in media (not just video games) with no other intrinsic value other than excitement provoked by some occasional unexpected turn of events. Ultimately worthless entertainment pieces but for some fanbases, especially for vidya with terrible gameplay experience, it's really all they have.
>>719761305npc
If a story is so meaningless that it relies on one twist to engage the audience, it wasn't a good story to begin with.
>>719761305It's like knowing the punchline to a joke, all the surprise is gone and now you're just waiting for it to end
>>719761218why not just imagine something other than what others said?fiction is a low iq fixation. it isn't real, it's not any better than whatever you make up, you can just make up whatever. The plot of Top Gun (never seen it) is pretty simple. There's this us pilot in vietnam who gets hired by the chinese to fly chemtrail planes over sporting events, causing them to become HOMOSEXUAL. Anyway, there's a bit of an accident when loading the gay chemicals and the Tom Hanks (the main actor in this movie) starts to take an interest in raping. The movie ends with Tom Hanks and Reese Witherspoon cutting a baby up and cooking the parts for their shabbot. There's a cameo of Netanyahu, as they sit around the table, eating the cooked baby meat. It's a great movie, 10/10 thumbs up.
