He only ups and does something about it this time because of Franklin...otherwise he would've went right back to putting his shades on, drinking, and watching old movies. Franklin pretty much puts the battery back into Michael's back and is the main reason why all the events in the game even kicks off in GTA V. Reminds me of that movie with Ben Affleck where his wife is sucking and fucking everything under the sun and the dude just takes it with a smile.

If you were alive at the time, a lot of people were sick of the west coast choppers fad. I think R* was embarrassed they got sucked in it, that things was redemption.

I was less bothered by the fact that Johnny died than I was about the fact that they did a total 180 on the end of TLaD and turned him into a cowardly junkie before giving him a pathetic death. If the game didn't give me the easy option of having all three protagonists survive, I'd have killed Trevor despite being undeniably entertained by his edginess and insanity.
