Back then my focus was about beating games. Now I care more about absorbing the details than completing a checklist. I'm also a lot better at games than when I was younger so maybe it is a natural development of finding other facets to care about other than difficulty. I fucking loved Shadow of the Erdtree. The map design and exploration was sublime. Who gives a shit about rewards? The topography itself and navigating to put my feet on every square inch of the land of shadows was its own reward. This will be the same. I can't wait to touch every inch of Pharloom.
