I did like how they added a bunch of opportunities to do skips here and there by pogoing off enemies, though people who didn't play HK a lot won't probably notice them.The art and music of the begining areas are much worse than HK's. I've talked with like 12 NPCs and the only one I distinctly remember is the tall one that sells maps, whereas in HK all the NPCs from the main town were memorable. The ambient ost so far has fallen completely flat for me and the town ost is absolutely unremarkable compared to the ost from their HK counterpart or other popular town osts like Majula's.At least so far it does feel like a HK expansion that got turned into a game, without as much artistic charm as the original. It's probably not going to be terrible since it is more Hollow Knight, but I don't know if it will live up to the original seeing how the art and music has been so far.
