Why isn't there more submarine kino? Sneaking up on a whole wolfpack and smoking them without them noticing anything is amiss satisfies my primal urge to rape and kill. Cold waters keeps me off the streets for hours just for one mission. For the sake of the innocent women and minorities out there, we need more submarine games.
>>719816950UBOAT is pretty great, I love the kindy goofy German voice overs. And it's even out of early access now.
>>719816950You tried Silent Hunter 3 (especially modded) i will always shill this guy for ithttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOjcH2iIOfI
>>719817986>>719818370kraut kringe
>>719818451Face the wall, cold war nigger. The Battle for the Atlantic reigns supreme.
I wish there was a game like Subnautica but with better submarines
>>719818603>shooting unarmed targets>no torpedo beats>no geometryWhere's the struggle in that?
Also you could check out "From the Depths" its not a sim but a building game where you can make ships, airships, space ships, planes, orbital lasers and submarines IT is NOT a sim per se but still interesting like shit has dif penetration values and things like that (im bad at it so i canont explain fully)
>Why isn't there more submarine kino?Vehicular game are rare to begin withSneaking game are also rareSubmarine are especially slowUnderwater is harder to make visually interesting
>>719821295>Underwater is harder to make visually interestingwhat are you smoking?
>>719816950turd worlders don't understand submarinesand cold war is over, so crackers don't really think about them
>>719821473Most underwater is like OP's picture
>>719821473Add funky bioluminescent coral and algaes Subnautica style if you want, those are only near the surface, any deeper and you won't see much.It will also look very ugly if done badly. Since you can't see far you need a good composition. There's also the problem it causes with gameplay. Not all submarine are capable of zipping around 360°
>>719821473Go ahead make me a visually interesting experience
>>719822975I'd rather you stopped replying and go see a talk therapist
>>719816950Uboat and Cold Waters are both fun. So is War on the Sea. I haven't tried Sea Power yet but I'm sure that's great too.
>>719816950SH5 is great when its not bugging out
A submarine titan game done with modern fidelity could be interesting. No more square environmentNo more units with very limited size differenceNo more moving diagonally on gridsNo more camera movement limited to 2DSubmarine you can follow from every anglesTorpedoes that move 3-dimensionally and tract targets in real timeProcedurally generated environment
>>719823145Sea Power is great but the performance is dogshit and the aircraft ai is terrible to the point where sending an f14 after a mig17 is a 50/50 chance of success. The sonar mechanics are much better than cold waters but torpedo and countermeasure functionality is a lot worse. And most of the missions suffer from modder's megalomania to the point of taking 4 hours which is about as long as the game can last before memory leaks crash your whole pc.
>>719823712Don't forget "graphics so good that you can't see shit anymore".That said, BAR has subs
>>719823387>when its not bugging outsadly this applies to all realistic submarine gamessimulating real life physics beyond what goes up must come down is really hard for some reason
>>719823093>can't answer
>>719824109you didn't answer either, autismo
