This, I dont like DS, wanted to try one for the sake of it but hate DS grim dark aesthetics, I eventually played ER but I just cant bring myself to finish it.
i do intend to get back into it at some point and I recognize it is a good game just not my thing.

I might try it at some point but imo DS never needed a sequal. The gameplay was shit but it was unique and a novelty. I tried to play the DC version and quit shortly in.
If I can ever get round to starting it again and going through that then I might play the 2nd game but I doubt I ever will desu.

You are missing out on a top quality game with this and most likely the last good R* game.
Story is decent but more importantly the cowboy sim immersion.
We dont have any game that accurately portays the western life like this.
I have played it from start to finish twice now and intend to play it again at some point.
