How to make this piece of shit work? I have a GOG version and at first it would either crash to windows or turn black while the sound was still playing, but I managed to fix that with D2fix. But still, there are some weird artifacts (lines and triangles) flickering all over the screen. Apparently it's very common with this fucking game, but fixes suggested on the internet don't work. I tried running in compatibility mode, updating GPU drivers, rolling back GPU drivers to a "stable" version, disabling full screen optimizations, limiting FPS, running in windowed mode, disabling any and all post-processing, running on lowest graphical settings, running on highest graphical settings, running as admin, deleting cfg file, all the shit people talk about on the internet. Nothing gets rid of those flickering fucking artifacts.

I meet all the reqs. GPU is NVIDIA GTX 1060.

Are pirated versions known to work without issues? Or maybe emulation?

D2 is boring. Just go play Prey or D1.
>>
Never had a problem.

pc gaming lol

>GPU is NVIDIA GTX 1060
It's gonna run terribly, sorry to say. Even if you do manage to get it running.

Oh fuck why? I think that GPU is superior to the recommended one. Is it just one of those shitty outliers or a miraculously incompatible one? I heard Void engine is kinda shit and it causes problems with certain GPUs.

I'm not reading all that

i played this on a 970 ages ago, granted it was 1080p/60. the only fps drops i got was crashing though windows when using far reach.

Install driver booster and let it download all the required game drivers . It works every time.
>>
Why the fuck is this not 60 fps on consoles but the negro expansion is?
>>
>>719950047
I tired part 1. Couldn't get into it
Just like Assassin's Creed 1. Got to the 2nd city and had to quit.
Wtf kinda bullshit was the rest of the game?
Don't tell me cause i just don't care

Fuck m8, Ass Creed 1 was fucking gold. I have fond memories of 2 too, but 1 was undeniably the best. Granted, repetitive as shit, but the atmosphere was top notch, and the assassination scenarios were quite well done for the most part too.
I also liked Far Cry 2 a lot, which is similar to Ass Creed in the sense it's all the same shit repeated ad infinitum, but it makes up with the atmosphere and exploration. A lot of people hate this kind of games because there is little variety but I love them for the immersion and exploration.

No it's not. I played this shit on a 1060 as well ages ago and ran just fine on Very High
>>
Runs like shit on Nvidia too?
I thought it was an AMD problem. Anyways I think what eventually worked for me was the AMD cleanup utility and installing older drivers but after one playthrough an automatic update broke the game again.
>>
>>719952090
Did it run fine from the get go or did you do some fixes? What system were you playing on? I have a Win10, maybe that's the reason

>Blindly believing retarded ai answers
>>
>>719952337
From the get go. Win10, i5-4460 I believe, 1060 6GB
>>
>>719952771
What does this have to do with AI you braindead buzzword-spewing zoomer retard?
2 doesn't run 60 fps on console
>>
>>719955381
And neither is the expansion.
