has logitech finally fixed the double clicks ?
what were they thinking making a mouse cum colored ?
logitech employee here, there is no problem with our pheripherals please stop lying
I'm on logitech g502 hero, but I'm thinking about getting a wireless mouse. How's logitech g502 x lightspeed?
>>719960241my logitech's side button is double clicking and it's really pissing me off
im tempted to get a superlight 2 but apparently they have scratchy skates.FUCK>220 mouse + tax then have to instantly buy new skates or dots + $30or I could just get a viper V3 which is similar shape with a bit less palm contact.

>most newish logitech mice that are reasonably priced>all have rubbery sides

how to stop rubber melting
>>719961301you either have pissy hands or you dont.seems like no matter how many times you wash up it happens
I love my OP1 but its too small for a regular mouse and because my hand size I kind of finger tip grip it and its too big for that too so I cant really pick a grip that feels comfortable.either I need to get the extreme biggest mouse or the extreme other end like a true finger tip.
>>719961193it's just the next form of planned obsolescence. people are too pissed about the double clicking after 6 months, it's cutting into business, so they came up with a new scheme to ruin your mouse within about a year.
>>719960241I have multiple M-U0026 and they have worked just fine for years.
>mfw I feel for the mouse dot skates meme>was supposed to have more stopping power feel on glass pad>it does for about a week then they get broken in>faster than my OG PTFE skatesI guess im gonna have to keep buying PTFE when my glass pad chews them up.
>get a mouse with speed holes>nice, real nice >time passes>accidentally spill juice over my mouse>it dies>no amount of cleaning fixes it>get another speed holes mouse, this one even lighter (55g)>love it>but the seed has been placed, DO I need an even lighter mouse?>DO I need 8k polling?>DO I want to deal with wireless (y'know, charging)?>DO I want to pay the asking price for super light wireless 8k mice?I'm telling myself no since mouse sensors have been perfect for years by this point and polling above 1k only matters for real high framerates and people who play a single game at an esport level to notice but still, I feel the autism calling to me.
>>719960550I find the G502 hero ends up feeling the best if you like the extra weight. The G502X feels fine, wireless works ok, comes with a pretty long usb3 cable should you want a wired mouse anyway, but its very light.
>>719961864>end like a true finger tip.Go full finger blast and get that carbon fibre finger tip mouse Zaunkoenig M1K.
>>719962976a true finger tip will be my next mouse if the viper v3 doesnt do it for me.
Which is the deeper hole, mouse autism or keyboard autism?
>>719965012mouse
>>719962753>accidentally spill juice over my mouseBut this will fuck up any mouse you slob.
>fixedWhy would they fix an issue they caused on purpose? Anyway, mice have moved on now. Now you get optical switches that don't break, and a mechanical wheel encoder that does break, so you still need a new mouse after a year or two.
>>719965572https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xEKviKx8xeA
>>719965012mouse easily.
>>719965709There are optical encoders out there.
>>719960241The latest models are using optical switches so yeah, I imagine the double clicks are fixed on those. I do not have one myself since I am still using a G502 from 2016 (and it doesn't double click, though lately the scroll wheel clicks no longer seem to be 100% reliable).
>mouse feels good>relatively light weight>after a month the scroll wheel becomes mushy>either return it or jut unbind the wheel from every game
>>719960339>see a mouse>think of cumwhy are you gay
>>719965959>There are optical encoders out there.Sure, they were common for literal decades. They stopped putting them in gaymer mice around a decade ago, now they're ALL mechanical.
>>719965984Option C: dismantle the mouse and remove your corrosive nerd slime from the wheel assembly.
>>719965012I'm gonna say keyboards because you have all of the real stuff of switches and analog keyboards and software and so on, but then you get into the pure autism of people spending hundreds of dollars on custom keycaps.
Best fingertip grip mouse (no holes)?
>>719961104I just buy the same mouse in amazon and I return the broken one. I got a refund every single time.
>>719966145G-Wolves Fenrir Max
I think i'm going to have to retrain myself to use the claw grip as my new mouse is a hair smaller than my old one which was perfect for palming for my hand. Who knew that a few mm could make so much difference (that is what she said).
I once bought a mouse made out of bamboo. It was real nice to the touch but the inside were any old shit so I gave up using it for vidya as it proved to be unreliable.
>>719961256Just open the the mouse and the switch up like this and spray some contact cleaner and compressed air in there, probably fixes it for the next couple of years like it did for me
>>719961864I just got this G703 clone because I'm sick of tiny mice and I wanted a nice fat assed ergo shape that fills out my palm. And it's been pretty nice. A full-sized mouse with a right-hand shape nowadays still comes in at around 50g, and still ticks all of the meme boxes for sensors, switches, and features. Consider just getting a big ass mouse. Now if only someone would make something with the shape of the old Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer (Wireless).
>>719960241i have used a wireless g502 lightspeed for 5 years and it has never EVER double clicked. I dont get the logitech double click problem everyone else seems to face.
>>719962753>8k polling>when most games just break even at 1k hz like osu or minecraft
>>719966145any razer viper mini clones (mchose, hitscan hyperlight)
What's the most durable wireless mouse these days? I always buy cheap 10e mice because i'm lazy. Bought a new pc, so better upgrade everything else too
>>719966542>when most games just break even at 1k hz like osu or minecraftPlease elaborate.
>>719960241my OG G502 double clicked after 2 or 3 years, but opening it up and cleaning the switches would stop it for a year or twomy G502 Hero is 4 years old now and has never double clicked
Are the "ergonomic" upright mice a meme?
>>719966676https://www.endgamegear.com/en-us/xm2we/gaming-mice?attribute%5Bcolor%5D=Black
>deathadder v2 suddenly dies>it doesn't even power on when plugging into a different usb slot>try wriggling the cable near the mouse>it works againgood thing I didn't jump the gun and immediately buy a new one
>>719966524I mean I have a Viper Ultimate that's been going on for 6 years but that doesn't mean Razer is a good company or that this mouse model is actually reliable.
>>719960241About to desolder this defective omicron switch (died after 5 years) and replace it with a kalith 8, wish me luck
>>719966838No but they are all designed for office work.
>>719966838I use one at work. It's fine. But I don't think it makes that big of a difference. Wouldn't use any of those for gaming though. It forces you to move the mouse with your arm rather than your wrists, because angling your wrists up and down is less comfortable. But sometimes wrist control is what you need for fine-grained aiming.
>>719968086>It forces you to move the mouse with your arm rather than your wristsTo be fair for gaymen your main pivot point should be your elbow with your wrist only making small adjustments.
What's wrong with Logitech double clicks?
>>719967247These won't come off wtfLogitech g903 BTW
>>719968795He means the mouse is double-clicking when you input one click. It's like the most common failure mode for a mouse switch.
>>719969373multi-pin components are always finicky to get off, there is always some fly shit sized solder blob on one of the pins and it doesn't fit through the hole
>>719960241no, and their optical version mouse's are even more of a meme since the side buttons aren't optical so they'll start double clicking in no time at all.
>>719970073I don't think anyone makes optical side buttons yet.
>>719966145an actual finger tip mouse like G wolves
>>719966431I was gonna >chinse shit but I realized its all chinese shit
>logitech shit>double clicks>just rebend the copper leaf spring that is about the size of 1/10 a grain of rice
bigger mice should be longer not wider.the deathadder V3 would be perfect if it was 10mm longer and the front end was lowered way down
>>719960241The double clicking is intentional; it gets you to buy a new mouse every 2-3 years thus potentially giving them more frequent recurring revenue.
>>719965012Keyboard not even close, you have retards choosing them based on how the clicks sound
>>719966145Recently tried out a Logitech G309 and Razer Cobra Pro and kept the Logitech despite being the less premium mouse. Just fills out my hand and fingertip grip perfectly(Cobra was too thin/concave), main buttons are easier to press from both ends(both in force required and ease of reach), and it can be made lighter than the Razer. I did prefer some things from the Cobra though, like the textured rubber grip that's on the sides, having a built in battery rather than having to deal with a separate AA battery, the extra button, and the scroll wheel was just a straight upgrade with how grippy, tactile-scrolling and easy to click it was
>>719971832how can either of those be finger tip if the back of the mouse can jam into your palm?unless you are clicking using the veryh back of the M1/M2 or you have like 25cm long hands
