Which video games based on cartoons do you like?
I played this game so goddamn much. The only thing I hated was the fact the secret characters like the chicken had generic moves and final attacks.
>>719972746I know it is objectively bad but man do I like the show
>>719972746I liked Jimmy Neutron Attack of the Twonkies but I swear to God there is a glitched out room where you can soft lock the game completely if you do something wrong. I could never get past it no matter what the fuck I did
>>719972746BUENOS DIAS MANDY
>>719972746cyberpunk 2077
>>719972746I played the shit out of this game. A distinct memory is getting obsessed with Fred Fredburger. I have no idea why! >>719973487I liked this game too even if I never completed it and felt frustrated at the mechanics.
>>719974390I don't blame you. I powered through the entire game just because it was structured like an Ed, Edd n Eddy episode.
>>719973487Loved that game. This one is also dogwater but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
>>719972746thumbnail made Mandy look naked bending over. her fist is her body, arms down by her knees
Turtles in Time (TiT)Bucky 'O Hare Ducktales of courseWendy: Every Witch Way by Wayforward, only the cartoon was never releasedDoes Disney's Magical Quest count?Shrek SuperSlam was a pretty fun (but very simple and probably not very engaging) party fighter, that had a meme competitive scene a few years ago (probably dead now)Madagascar (PS2) is a pretty ok platformer, in that it's very mediocre as a platformer, but had quite some variety with different characters and many minigames.Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu probably doesn't count but it's much better than you'd expect.I know that this is a nostalgiabait thread, but has any good licensed game base on a cartoon/comic (ignoring superheroes) been released in the last 10 years?
>>719976590its wild that a harvey birdman attorney at law game exists and developed (or published) by capcom of all things, but it kind of makes sense when you see that its just a western phoenix wright bootleg.
>>719973850you know the game came out first?
>>719975753>Numbah 3 is Japanese>Real name is San-ban
The emperor's new groove is surprisingly fun. Got it along with final fantasy 9.
>>719973608extremely based, supersponge's ost is divine
>>719972746
>>719976590HAHA YES!
>>719973608I loved this game so fucking much as a kid. It was absurdly short so I'd just replay it over and over while constantly failing to find all the birthday items for the ending. I was absolutely obsessed with all the weird shit not in the show like that weird boss in the Shady Shoals level.
>>719975753I remember I used to hang out with a kid who had GBA cartridges which were just a few episodes of Kids Next Door that you could watch on the dogshit GBA screen and even back then I was wondering why the fuck they would even bother
>>719980509There were some attempts in the 2000s to do multimedia on consoles, probably inspired by PS2 being a DVD player, before shitty sales numbers brought them back to reality.GBA cartridges had to be one of the worst format available at the time, however.
>>719980509Gimmick.
Beep beep grandpa coming through
a remaster would be nice but they'd probably get rid of Apu
>>719983040It's actually fucking insane to me that Apu was only playable in this game because he was the most popular non-Simpson family member, and now he's a fucking ghost even with a new VA
One of my all time favorites
Steven Universe save the light
Sad that none of the Powerpuff Girls ones are all that great. Seems like an IP that lends itself well for video games.
>>719972952I remember unlocking the extra characters and expecting something cool from the full Mojo special move lmaoI was dissapointed but still laughed>>719982882The NES and Genesis TT games are pretty good as well
>>719972746You walk into your room and see this. What do?
>>719980509They were just called GBA Video. All of them were super compressed to fit on the cartridge, but the funniest ones for that are the Dreamworks 2-packs because they had extra compression compared to the individual releases of the movies.
>>719972746I prefer golden age Cartoon Network shows like PPG, Samurai Jack, Courage, and Ed Edd n Eddy. 2007-2009 shows like Chowder, Flapjack, and Billy & Mandy marked a decline.
>>719988359Billy and mandy is from 2003
I played this a lot when I was younger along with The Mis-Edventures, I don't even think there were that many minigames in it
>>719988359forgot the fucking pic
>>719988359This. When Chowder and Billy & Mandy came out in 2007 I knew something was off. Then Flapjack came out a year later and it didn't even feel like the same channel anymore. I don't know why they abandoned their golden age Tartakovsky shows like Dexter's Lab and Samurai Jack so quickly. He kind of got the short end of the stick.
>>719975753Jesus Christ this game was LOOOOONG! I got to Nightbrace's lair and had to put it down for a while. If you like K.N.D, it's surprisingly packed with content, they even added an unlock in the extras menu to play as all the bosses in the game in a mini fight gauntlet.
>>719988516And Grim and Evil is from 2001
>>719972746The re-release on Wii has a few extras and GC controller support, a match with Horror Hands only is pretty fun
>>719988359Elaborate please.
>>719988516>>719988990you are completely right, but B&M is the bridge between the "CN City" era to the "Yes!" era
>>719972746Ludo game. It's a better game than many beat'em up vidya. Mogar is OP.>>719974390>A distinct memory is getting obsessed with Fred FredburgerBecause he's a 'tard, the obnoxious kind.>>719975919How?
>>719979309back when Disney cared about having decent tie-in games
>>719983040>mogs the shit out of you
>>719972746I liked this game as a kid. I didn't know power stone existed or how much of a blatant clone it was. there were a bunch of licensed power stone clones. there's a looney tunes one that's xbox exclusive for some reason.
>>719989036I played the first one on snes, the toy car was hard.
>>719977561>Nigel UNO>Hoagie P. Gilligan, Jr (Or the Second)>Wallabee BEATLES (There band has four members)>Abigail Lincoln (The guy on the $5 bill) They're all puns anon
>>719988359I really liked Billy and Mandy. It's from about the same era of stuff like Ed Edd n Eddy but it ran for a while so maybe that's where you're getting confused. You're not going to convince me a show that drops a character on you with the name "Professor Gaylord" sucks.Never liked Chowder but it had some damn good gags. Always hated Flapjack, just felt way too stupid. I stopped watching Cartoon Network by the time Regular Show was airing but that always stood out to me as a gem amidst an era of trash. I should probably go through it some time.
>>719989623That's actually clever as fuck, big props to them. I only ever caught on to Nigel Uno as a kid.
>>719973487the gameboy advanced version was a lot of fun
>>719973487>beat game>get rapedIt's just like one of my Japanese eroge
>>719989623That's actually clever
>>719989228MOOOOGAAARRRRR
>>719973487The gameplay was pretty bad and the 3d models were terrible but it had a lot of soul
>>719989623And>Kuki SANban (San is Japanese for 3)
>>719973487Just play the autistic MMO 4chan larp in your head
>>719993813And ban is Japanese for number.
>>719989423It's weird how there's only 4 playable characters, with a cast like the Looney Tunes you'd think it'd at least have 20.
>>719994847You only really need these guys. Anything else is bloat. Coyotefags need not apply btw
>>719972746I remember liking this game a massive ton as a kid, but that disc was scratched to so much fucking bits when I bought it at GameCrazy that I think I either went back there or Blockbuster to buy one of those disc cleaner cream thingies. Surprisingly it worked like a charm after I applied it.
>>719976590I think I saw this shit as a PS2/PS3 and 360 title as well. What the fuck was this?
My favorite kind of movie to game adaptation are the ones that are far better than the original film.
>>719997020No Porky, no Elmer, no Yosemite, no Marvin, no Lola, no Gossamer, no Speedy, no Hazel, no Bosko? You can't have a decent fighting game with only 4 characters.
>>719977785Fun fact: Every single member of Sector V follows the Kojima naming principle.Numbah 1 is Nigel Uno. Uno being 1 in Spanish, obviously.Numbah 2 is Hogarth "Hoagie" Pennywhistle Gilligan. Jr. Junior, meaning he's the second.Numbah 3 is Kuki Sanban. Sanban literally meaning "third"Numbah 4 is Walter "Wallaby" Beetles. The Beatles being commonly referred to as the "Fab Four." This is probably the most obscure connection.Numbah 5 is Abigail Lincoln. Lincoln being the president on the US $5 bill.
>>719998505I picked up numbers 1 and 3 the first time I heard their names, but I always wondered why they were the only two who followed the pattern.
>>719997020What's wrong with Wile?
I kinda miss these shovelware games you would buy for next to nothing as the 10th owner and finish the game in 6-10 hours
>>719997978>Boskobro, come on
>>719993813Her names also Kuki, because it sounds like Cooky, because she's mental.
>>720000695They don't have to use his original design if need be, but he's still the first Looney Tune. I feel like that should get some sort of recognition.
