I beat the game just now and think that several bosses need tweaks.1.) The only safe time to attack Trobbio is when he's doing his tornado attack, it's a long drawn out battle because if you try to chase him down when he's on the ground or just popped out of the floor, he can enter tornado mode and attack you.2.) The only safe time to attack Lace is when she's doing her divekick, it's a long drawn out battle because if you try to attack her during any other attack, she can counter or do a new attack. I feel like you're supposed to be parrying her attacks, but when she does her thrust attack you can parry it but then she goes through you and does damage anyways.3.) The flying enemies that the Beastfly spawns shouldn't back away from you. The secret to beating them is killing the flying enemies as soon as possible with skills/tools.4.) FUCK the two big guys at the end of the big Great Hall battle. (pic rel) If you're unlucky, they just go hard on you with no counterplay that I know of. I've died just to them several times. Seriously, can you parry their attacks? I tried to at some point and couldn't. I ended up winning because I got LUCKY

She ends up much more mobile but cannot take a beating and her weapon is a wet noodle. Game starts to get fun around when you get the wall jump. The area size is around the same as hollow knight, but there's a lot more areas. As for difficulty, it is undoubtedly harder than hollow knight. A lot of shit starts dealing 2 damage early on and it doesn't stop, so you aren't going to feel like you even got a health upgrade until you get your second one. Your heal now heals for 3 and can be used in the air, but unlike hollow knight you need to hit the enemy about 8 times to heal instead of 3. It's a commitment the moment you press the button and you lose your mana if you get hit during the heal. You will hate flying enemies for how good they are at spacing.

I'm kinda enjoying it. But I keep doing side quests and the rewards are middling. Rosary beads or a pouch upgrade. I'm losing interest but the game keeps dangling incremental improvements through tedious fetch quests. I'll eventually push ahead but I also feel like I might be missing out on something good in one of the quests and they're all just... shit. I liked the dart throwing mini game though. First bit of soul in this otherwise drab sequel.
